ZRH-PMI - help reqd.

The Ette and I are booked to arr into ZRH on June 21 at 08:15 - had flts booked on AB ZRH-PMI at 11:40 - but AB have rescheduled to 08:40 dep - what a bummer.

Next best direct alt I can see is LX with 15:15 dep - advice on anything I might have missed greatly appreciated?

Skyscanner has a couple of options though not a lot better.

Non-connected I assume so difficult.

What is MCT?

Niki at 855 (nonstop)

Rest by arrival time (obviously with significant connections)
Eurowings at 0905
Austrian at 0900
KLM at 920

Failing those, everything else arrives at PMI after the later LX flight.

The only other thought would be to train to another airport with direct flight but whether that can get you there sooner than just waiting for the 3pm flight.....

My initial thought was to check for flights out of Basel (1 hour from ZRH by train) but the earliest flight would leave around the same time as the LX flight from ZRH.

The only other thing I can think of is to take the 09:35 ZRH-BCN flight with Vueling, then the 13:50 BCN-PMI flight on Norwegian. That at least gets you to PMI a couple of hours earlier at 14:45.

Ah huh - bit of a bummer and yes it very much restricts options.

And thanks to those who have contributed but will only take direct flt - I need to call Germania later tonight to discuss with them - there may be an option with them.

Rome to Rio doesn't show anything different either (search is not date or time specific) Zurich Airport (ZRH) to Palma de Mallorca. Train, Car Ferry from SFr 263. | Rome2rio

Tks to all who took the time to contribute - have indeed booked 2 x *A J awards on LX2150 dep ZRH 15:15 @ 27,500KF pts ea + S$116.50ea.

Whilst I hate long connections I think this is safest and most comfortable bet.

What are the odds? After conn flt ZRH-PMI post our arr into ZRH Jun 21 resch <- 3hrs req cancellation and rebooking totally new flt - now positioning flt CFU-ZRH for ret to Oz Jul 8 now resch -> 11:15hrs making it totally useless - so on phone to Swiss who have been able to rebook us on CFU-ATH / ATH-ZRH total travel time ~5hrs - not quite as good as a 2hr direct flt but better than what we were looking at. Never a dull moment in travel land huh?
