Hi all,
after attending AFF Gathering at Darwin last weekend, we continued south to Ayers Rock. We stayed for 2 nights at Pioneer Outback Lodge at $300.00 per night.
After a day out, returned to room around 2pm to find housekeeping had not yet attended, not too worried they were still around.
Between 4-5pm we went for drinks, during which time housekeeping attended our room.
Please see images below.
I would like your thoughts on the note left, and the state of our room.
They did replace towels and cups.





Above my bed with my Qantas Pj's on pillow.



Above hubby's bed with a camera strap, and plastic holder for camera tri-pod.

The resort has sent me a questionnaire about our stay...... Not sure how to reply yet.

I think they have moved items in the past and it kicked them in the butt with complaints about someone touching or stealing their stuff.

Did you enjoy your trip? Made happy memories? Im team its not a big deal. Can be slightly annoying but dont let it be the focus of your trip.

In the scheme of $300/night, they should have made the beds.

As noted above there has previously been an issue and now they err on the side of caution.

I'd say they've had issues in the past (complaints of personal belongings being touched) and now err on the side of caution.

I am mindful of housekeeping when leaving the room so don't leave items on the bed or sprawled across the bathroom counter so they can service the room without having to move my stuff.

I think it was good of them to leave a note so as not to leave you wondering why the beds were not made.

(Aside from the apostrophes...)
