Started flying Qantas again in October when I changed jobs after an employer forced period with Virgin at my last job.

Made Gold yesterday with a quick jaunt to Canberra.

My year is up 31 July and I already have another 300 status credits booked by 8th April. That will leave me 400 to go to make Platinum for the first time.

I think I can make the extra 400 sc's through Syd-Mel and Syd-Can trips by 31 July pretty easily, but here is hoping for a double SC promotion starting in May just to make sure!

So who can better that rate of SC earn? I can't, only managed 305 SC 1 Jan to yesterday. Fingers crossed for a WP retain by end of Dec.

420 from mid Jan to today, 140 required to retain WP before Sep 30, don't think it will be a problem, will mange that easily by end of April. Still never quite make P1 as is mostly achieved through short dom Y flights.

no double SC for me yet. Only 1 leg AKL-SYD in J, but I have one of my upcoming trips as a return J to AKL from SYD. Otherwise SYD-LHR in PE+, SYD-DFW in whY and everything else was earned in whY on SYD-MEL or SYD-CBR.

I have a London trip in July, so want to make Platinum by then so I can enjoy the F Lounge!
