Would you do a mattress run to coincide with an art exhibition?

Will you do a mattress run just to attend a art fair in the same hotel? I like the concept of how they turned a hotel room into a art gallery for the public to view. I will post a trip report later! :p
In correction, the title should say mattress run instead of mattress rum.

Is it a mattress run if you actually have a legitimate reason to be there? :D

It seems that Conrad hotels have some good events at their hotels. When in BKK I attended the Conrad young musician of Thailand concert and it was a magnificent event.

I look forward to the TR.

I'm assuming you're interested in the art? If so it makes great sense!

In June we were at Hilton South Wharf and they had the Hidden Faces of the Archibald exhibit in their foyer. Absolutely wonderful.

EDIT: Forgot to say, I always look for these "oddball" art shows. You can sometimes get bargains......I bought a 1500 x 1500 S&D (Archibald finalists in 2010 and Moran National Portrait finalist 2011 IIRC) oil (Blue Steel) at a charity art auction for circa $800.

I'm doing a day trip just to see MONA on the 27th. Flying down 11.15am and back 10pm. Mattress run? What mattress run? I'll be in my own bed.
