Good afternoon all

The Woolworths Money re-loadable prepaid Mastercard 'Option A' incurs no load/reload fees.

Guide here: https://www.woolworthsmoney.com.au/...asterCard+Welcome+Guide_Feb14.pdf?MOD=AJPERES

Key benefits detailed as:

"Reloading your prepaid card is available in-store at 1,000 Woolworths Supermarkets or BIG W stores."

also

"Load and go in store at any Woolworths or BIG W. Just present your card at the check-out and ask to load money with cash or EFTPOS (not a credit card)."

Would you please confirm if it is possible to reload at self service counter / checkout or otherwise with comment?

Many thanks for your help.

Simon

You need to reload at the service counter, while it has no load fees, neither does the Velocity or Qantas option. However it does have ongoing fees, and no points unlike the Qantas/Velocity ones.

Guess there's a snowflake's chance in hell that you'd be able to load this with a wish card.

Thanks both for prompt reply to question.

This being the case say we were interested in accruing points on a per transaction basis by completing a reasonable number of incremental transactions. For example reloading $100 onto a prepaid card using 20 number incremental transactions of $5.

How would we achieve this discretely without causing hindrance to cashiers; for example self service check out?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Can't load it with the XS card either :(

Given the timing of the thread post, perhaps he was hoping to use the BW card to load it and get 5 pts per transaction... But you can't load it with a credit card anyway. Or maybe I'm way off-track.

I did look at the woolies prepaid card while trying to do some manufactured spending, but found no opportunities there.
