Just got off the phone to Woolies, 2nd call being to their Car Insurance Department. It hasn't been long since I joined up to them, 11 days infact.

My complaint(s):

Why did I not recieve my extra 4c voucher when I did a re-fuel on Nov 20th? "Spent 57.00 Ltr's" on fuel while using a 10c voucher, points were given today, only for the 10c voucher (5 points per litre), no extra for the car bonus (making it 7c per litre total in my case).

Below is a cut / paste about my issue/compaint. I don't remember IF the sales department informed me during "join up", that it ONLY APPLIES AFTER the 1st 45 days of car insurance membership; As thats what I was told during the phone call just now.

I also said that the "ad" on the top right corner of the website should when opened, in fact tell the conditions and other general info about the bonus 4c voucher. As if you click/open it, all it does is go to the online application form/page.

Whatever the actual rules may be, I was under the impression that after you join up all your WWEDR fuel vouchers will also include the car insurance bonus up until 12 months has occured.

Below on the screen shot of the rules, it says within 45 days, NOT after 45 days as what was said on the phone to me. If it means that the points will actually only credit after (or so) 45 days, but will be backdated to the original transaction, wouldn't annoy me. But when they say I MUST wait 45 days of being a car insurance member before it even starts (ie: think of private health insurance + extras!), how does that help me choose to spend on fuel with them when I can just get flybuy points instead?

Person has escalated it to head office / put a complaint in, which she says she will ring back when she hears more. I did take the screen shots as you can see, in which I told her I shall be, incase the website wording somehow changes.... (within changed to after is one example!)

Right now not happy.....

I also mentioned that Woolies seem to be going downhill / getting worse since they only give fuel vouchers, but not other bonus points for shopping in their stores. Saying I could change to flybuys for my shopping. Example given is not everyone drives a car. Also made mention that there are hundreds or thousands more that are also not happy about it (ie: AFF Forum members: website not quoted though).

That's all I seem to need to say right now!

I'm not interested in getting Woolworths car insurance but I was originally curious as to how the extra fuel vouchers worked. I couldn't find any useful information on the website. I was also annoyed that the link on the page with the "extra fuel offer" lead to a "get a quote" page rather than the information it promised about the vouchers.
