Will Sq hold an award (phone) booking whilst pts are being transferred?

Given Sq pts do expire, I don't want to TF points into Krisflyer unless there is seat availability...so the Q is, will Sq hold an award booking made over the phone whilst pts are being transferred? or do you need to have all the points in your account. Many years ago, I was able to do this but not sure the current procedure.

Next Q: If I book a LH award flight eg Prg-Fra, and then Fra-Sin-Syd on Sq, will I get the 15% discount for the Sq sectors as I can't book this on one PNR over the phome?

To the best of my knowledge the answer to part 1 is no. Points need to be in your account to book or waitlist.
Answer to second part- isn't this a *A redemption so no 15 %, I am assuming you are booking the LH sector with Kris points?

Are you transferring from VA or credit card? If its VA all reports are it transfers straight away, so u could ring up find the flight, transfer and book all pretty quickly. credit cards probably a little longer, might have to have them find 2 flights that suit? just to hedge your bets

With point 2 if suggest you book it all as a star alliance award. Whilst booking as two tickets you gain a 15pc discount on the sq booking (0.15*95,000 = 14250) which is offset by the 12,500 pts for the LH booking (ie only save you 1750 KF miles) but you will probably have to pay higher (departure) taxes for the SQ booking which will treat it as a FRA departure with higher German taxes. If on the one ticket you'd pay the Czech taxes.
