Hi,

This article Frequent fly in Qantas ointment - News - Travel - theage.com.au

seems to imply they are going to increase points to travel.
This is news to me, but I'm living in California now so the
opportunity to talk about QFF is limited:-|

If this article is correct, when are these changes
due to happen?
Also, if I book now I don't believe they can
make me pay more points if they do increase, right?
Finally, for a FF ticket, what is the change fee (can you
change it) for changing dates (but not route).

As yet we actually have no real information about the changes. It is expected that QF are going to introduce some form of "anytime" awards - the ability to "buy" any seat you want but at a higher points cost.

This is just another speculative piece of anti-QF "journalism" on a slow news day.

Any changes to the QF program will be discussed ad nauseum here :)
