Which room location to pick at Hilton AKL (OLCI)

I've been trying to find an old Hilton AKL thread but they all seem to be closed, so sorry for another :shock:

I'm doing OLCI for a 3 night stay tomorrow, and have two options on the 6th floor... One room looks much larger with a bigger window (602) so was going to pick this, but not knowing the hotel I thought this may be the side that overlooks the apartment hotel next door, actually giving myself a worse view.

Anybody familiar with the hotel to point me in the right direction?

Sorry I didn't see this before. I was in room 604 at the exact time!!

I think you chose well. The little time I spent on the balcony I was more on that side anyway. The bulk of the bow suite balcony and room is just so exposed to the complex opposite - I had most of the place shut up as a result. Is a good room though, and was upgraded from harbour view room so won't complain.
