Hi
I am flying Air New Zealand to the States connecting on to Virgin America. I am planning on crediting my NZ flights to UA. But curious who would VX credit to? Can I add my VA # before the flight? I am worried about being added earlier in case the NZ flights credit to VA. (I don't need the SC's).

Thanks!

To answer my own question, I was able to add my VA # at gate here in LA. I was also able to pull up my reservation on VX website and attach it to my VX profile so I was able to use my TSA precheck. I just made sure not to add my VA number so that it did not pick it for the rest of the reservation. Now to see it all works out properly.
