Booked with Singapore from Adelaide to Paris economy (Y Class A380 800) and were pretty happy to be upper deck. Checking our bookings a bit over a month before travel have found the Singapore to Paris seat bookings have gone.
Think it`s possible the upper deck has gone business class and would appreciate it if anyone here has more knowledge on this. The flight is pretty full by now so really have to make a decision quickly. Should I ring somewhere?
We fly each year but really are pretty clueless about flights. Just hand over the credit card!
Never seem to get value from our Kris Flyer points but really like flying Singapore.

SIN-CDG has been all J upper deck for about a month now.
You could call the KF centre,
but better to go to the SQ website,
and select seats yourself using the booking reference.
(It used to be that you could only select seats before check-in if you booked on the website,
but happily that is no longer the case.)

I was in a similar situation. Booked MEL - SIN - CDG with A 380 on the long haul SIN - CDG legs, like we had done before. Seats were reserved with booking (which was done by operator due to some technical difficulties, but at DIY 15% discount rate). About a month ago looked at the booking and the seats were gone! Rang them and was told that upper deck on A380 was now all business, so are now sitting on lower deck - darn it, the Y class upper deck seats at 2 - 4 - 2 were great in the window seat pairs.

Googled and found out that the changes were from July last year, although my bookings were in November.

However it seems the changes are not on all 380's as I find that our initial leg MEL - SIN SQ228 is now being flown by a 380 with the old seating, although by the time I found this out all the window seat pairs were booked, so we are sitting in the centre block.

We also booked online last October.
You certainly need to keep your eye on your bookings as no one else will.
Rebooked online and chose 48D as apparently there`s extra legroom because 47D is vacant due to a floor hatch.
Sounds good. We`ll see how it works out! Loved top deck hope the new seat makes up for it.
