It was reported that Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud had bought an A380.

Was it ever delivered and where is it now?

It is a shame - that would have been an amazing plane. But most likely those in charge realized that once they made every fitting out of solid gold, those 5000 square feet of luxury was never going to beat gravity.

Sorry to be a picky person focussed on detail, but those potential floor plans and design are just plain wrong (pardon the pun).

The picture depicts a master bedroom with a triple deck bedside table. Who on earth would use that on their VVIP flights???

And I see no pole for pole dancing. Again, amateur errors that show those doing the drawing don't have a clue what is real living at the real pointy end.

It was going to be MSN002, one of the first A380s built and the 3rd to fly. Used by Airbus for the type testing. It was going to be converted for the private customer order, but the order was cancelled and will now be displayed at the Aeroscopia Museum in Toulouse.

Well, no good hedonistic pursuit is complete with out a pole, right? ;)

Or so I hear Lech Walesa said to John Paul II when they went LOT....!! A LOT of poles, I heard!

Not to mention no seatbelt for the ?King bed. Should be fastened comfortably over the top of the blanket at all times so the FA can check when the seat belt sign comes on.

Presumably there would be a seat belt for the pole occupant as well
