Hi - not sure if this is a new thing - but I am sure I had asked the question previously about using my QFF points for an award booking on westjet.
Happy to report that I was able to make a classic award booking today YVR - to YYC for 10,000 points and about $45!
Maybe not the best burn rate but it saved me $200.
Unfortunately the return flights were not direct and at unsuitable times but a cheap fare was found at air transat.
