HI, not sure where to post this question. I have a UK visitor who is due to return home on Friday 27 March on a BA flight. We have been unable to contact BA to check if flight is going or even of possibility of change.

Well the BA flight transits in Singapore which is now closed to transit passengers so i imagine unlikely to be going.QF via Darwin or Perth the best bets.

PS-just searched the BA website and Friday has no flight.

On another forum they were talking about BA16 not going today but hoping to have an agreement with Singapore by tomorrow so both flights will leave at the same time. Not sure about any other details

Thanks that sounds promising

I also checked flight radar and could see no flight tonight

My suggestion would be to follow this epic thread filled with posts from people trying to get on BA16 back to London.

It appears BA16 will soon be allowing SYD passengers to travel to LHR via SIN with passengers staying on board the plane in SIN.

Seems logical that Singapore should/could allow flights to refuel and simply not allow anyone off/on the plane.

Can't seem to be able to book the SYD-LHR route on either Qantas or British Airways website for our two UK guests who are trying to get home after Emirates/the UAE government cancelled their March 25th flights home.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Two BA16's are leaving Sydney today and doing the transitless stop in SIN. Both are rammed full of passengers.

I assume BA16 tomorrow will be fine.

Tell your guests to eat before the airport as there is little food after security. Also few shops open. Some more eating options are open landside, but all are pretty basic.
