Virgin next A330 to open up BNE flights?

I'd be surprised...
EY run an A330 from BNE-SIN-AUH... job swap maybe?

Can't see Virgin using their own metal, too much competition from their own partners, ie SQ & EY, and considerably inferior onboard product compared with both of those carriers. Would it work...? I doubt it.

If it happens it will surely be because EY drop the SIN-BNE leg in favour of it.

I also wonder if they know that a330 international gigs are coming up and they are guessing what route is?

The VA A330s are more than a match to the SQ product, don't forget it's all regional SQ ops into BNE.

In the case where EY drops the route and VA take it up, does EY and VA have ACCC approval to coordinate in that manner?

I'm not sure it's an issue if they don't compete.

is it likely that EY would drop the SIN stop and just do AUH-BNE?
