Hi has anyone been to the new Virgin Lounge that used to be the Alaskan one. I'm flying back from LAX on VA2 in 2 weeks and heard things changed some time last year? Any suggestions /feedback would be good.

I read somewhere they didn't have a liquor licence and gave out drink coupons for a bar outside the lounge. Surely this can't be the case anymore?

I was through there in January. You'll get a pass to the Virgin America lounge which has free booze and snacks. It's pretty small so had limited seating, however it is a vast improvement over the previous lounge offering. Enjoy your trip

Was there on Friday, also for VA2, was very busy, every seat was full. Food offerings ok, full service bar.
VA flights are not on the screens, however staff came around and let everyone know when boarding.

I absolutely loved the staff there. I think I ended up chatting for about 30 minutes about all sorts of random stuff (I introduced them to the Aussie term "Dodgy") when I was there in January.
