Hi,

i am looking at booking fares to attend a Family wedding.
i am wanting to buy 3 tickets, and want to use the 2 for 1 deal I have on my Virgin Flyer CC.

Can I purchase 2 Flexi return fares on this deal, but then only upgrade one of these fares using points to Business? (only Flexi can be upgraded to J)
I want to then purchase another fare that is the cheaper virgin "saver" option for the third ticket.

Basically, One person in J, and the other two in Y.

Hopefully this make sense, and hopefully it makes sense when i explain this when i book my tickets.

Cheers

You can only upgrade all pax on a single PNR/booking.

So if you do it your way you would have to upgrade both flexi pax.

Can you book the 2 as saver and the 1 as flexi?

Was thinking of the later, but I also wanted to use a free fare i have as part of the Amex Reserve Card. That fare can only be a "Saver".

Actually a thread I was reading on FT said that Virgin should be able to split pax onto different PNRs.

Sorry to hijack, but it's sort of relevant.

With this offer can you book the 2 for 1 flights for someody else (ie cardholder not travelling)?

Thanks
