Given its a code share service, it's all VS metal! Must be poor loads at present, 20000 miles and $300 will get the same as a reward flight.

As DJ effectively buy the space from Virgin Atlantic for the codeshare seat and charge a retail margin ontop that seems reasonable.The other point as mentioned here many time is other end of route carriers do underprice away from their home market where they have some pricing power.It would be rare that the airline codesharing on another airlines metal is cheaper than the operating carrier on a point to point basis.

Qantas is much cheaper than booking direct with Air Pacific.
