I got this ,message from Vietnam Airlines today. It may be of some interest to those doing internal flights.

"Vietnam Airlines would like to send you our sincere thanks for your trust and support over the years. To offer more choices to our passengers, we are pleased to announce a new product available from January 14, 2025:

The Premium Economy Class is officially introduced on Vietnam Airlines’ domestic routes. With the launch of this new service, our domestic flights will now feature three cabin classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.

Premium Economy is designed to provide an enhanced experience, positioned between Business and Economy. Passengers will enjoy impressive benefits, including:

  • Priority Services: Dedicated check-in counters and boarding gates, with priority boarding ahead of Economy Class.
  • Baggage Allowance: Up to 12kg carry-on baggage and 32kg checked baggage (with priority tags).
  • Seating: A separate seating area located just behind the Business Class and in front of Economy Class.
  • In-flight Meals: Exclusive and varied meal options depending on the route.
  • Flexible Offers: Free ticket changes and the ability to pre-select seats according to your preferences."

This is interesting:
"In addition, Lotusmiles members will enjoy bonus miles of 120% to 130% compared to the standard mileage accrual. Million Miler, Platinum, and Gold members will be respectively prioritized for complimentary upgrades to Premium Economy at check-in, provided seats are available and they hold a qualifying mile-eligible Economy ticket."
