Very interesting interview with the head of the TSA.

Now that I actually live in the LOTFAP, I pay more attention to the things I previously shrugged my shoulders about. #2 on the list is airport security and how the TSA is a more bureaucratic mess than even Terry Gilliam could have imagined. (aside: there is an ad for the BBC's "Yes Minister" DVDs on the left as I write this - rather appropriate).

Now, on one of my more favourite blogs - http://www.schneier.com/blog/ - there is an email interview with Kip Hawley - head of the TSA.
Frequent FTer's will know him more from Spiff's tagline than anything else :-)

Please give it a read and I'll think you'll find that Bruce Schneier speaks for all of us when he calls BS on some of Kip's responses.

If you think he's crazy, just have a look at Michael Chertoff, chief of Homeland Security, USA (google would give you a fair idea).

Fruit loops have got nothing on him.
