Velocity shop and earn query

Evening everyone, apologies if this is in the wrong place (be nice im new here )

This evening I purchased an item off eBay, and as I'm sure you are aware you can earn velocity points off purchases. However when I've gone to the velocity site to get it to track my purchase, VA has decided to be down for maintenance. As it was an auction I had no option to wait until the site was back online.

So i guess my question is, even though there is usually a policy against it- is there any way i can get my points after the auction has ended? The item hasn't yet been paid for if that helps.

I use a different site for commissions from Ebay, and the rule is that the affiliate link that pays for the auction is the one that receives the credit.

Not sure if that helps. I do believe that you have a legitimate claim against Velocity - I suggest contacting them.
