Velocity gold and hilton hotels

Hi, i am currently gold and have opted in for the Hilton hhonors. I am going to the USA in October and have booked a secret hotel in Las Vegas for 4 nights which ended up being the Tropicana hotel which is owned by Hilton. I have also booked for 2 night in LA staying at another Hilton hotel. As a gold member and opted into the Hilton hhonors, do i get a room upgrade if one is available and also the free breakfast? Also do i just show my velocity global wallet card at check-in to say that i am part of the hhonors program?

If you have opted you HH gold you should get a HH gold card. Your VFF card won't do you any good at the hotel. If you dont get the card in time ensure your HH account has been upgraded to the new status and you should get the appropriate perks.

I am not sure about that as it may be not be an eligible stay under the program.

Make sure your HH number is in your LA booking so they know your status.

With the mystery booking, there has been some good recent anecdotes here
