Hi all,

My dilemma is as follows -

We have 50,000 Singapore FF points, 180,000 Altitude (Westpac CC) points which can be converted to Virgin Velocity points.

We want to travel from Lima to Rome as part of our honeymoon and so far I believe we can transfer our singapore points to Velocity and the Altitude points to Velocity. The problem is how do I then use these points to get from Lima to Rome? Delta Airlines seem to be the best option and they are a partner of Velocity however I did call and they said check on the flight section on their website however Lima does not come up as an option. Do I have to call again and mention Any Seat Any Airline offer?? I didn't mention this the first time I called, I had assumed they would know about it!

Anyone see any other options that might be available for us?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Looked up my DL Skymiles account for next September with DL requiring 80,000 for Y and 200,000 for J one way via Atlanta. Probably no rewards seats available that day and any seat prices as DL also offerred the far better option of flying KLM, another SkyTeam airline via AMS in J for 85,000 miles.
Would have thought your VA points could at least access the DL metal flights though have never done this myself. Whether you can then score a reasonably priced points redemption is another matter.
United fly via New York so might be able to use SQ points with them being both Star Alliance airlines. Have never booked a United flight this way so again don't know what your chances are. Hopefully SQ will keep their fees and charges tolerable on United bookings with for comaprison, DL's fees were around the US$50 mark to FCO for their DL via ATL and KLM via AMS options.
