VA7 ~ 8 Way way late yet again

I see VA 7 ~8 issues again ....... Brisbane route being sacrificed yet again to keep VA 1~2 happy/smooth ?

VA8 was due in 06:20 .........now not due @ 18:40 ....... usual knock on effect to VA7 .... was due out 10:15 now 20:00 depart today -blows the day in LAX or connections from LAX .......... same song over and over again.

So frustrating, last two times have been delayed coming back into BNE once 3 hrs (although that was due to sabre issues) and last November 18hrs the issue was with the SYD bound plane so they got ours!


Doing the flight again next month hope they get this sorted out!

VA7 was back on time this morning ...best you can say is that it is fairly consistently inconsistent. Your right but it is the length of the delays at around 12 hours normally when it all goes pear shape that are the real killers. I have been put on VA2 a few times now.

I start keeping any eye on the VA flights (not that many so not hard) from OZ to LAX about 4 days before I'm due to fly out ...same on the way back ...keep an eye on things and if possible try and get ahead of the play if you can. ..... It is nearly always BNE and MEL that get knocked around when things go bad. The TBIT lounge is streets ahead of the old Virgin America Terminal 3 lounge but.
