VA to offer seasonal Melbourne-Kununurra flights

Virgin Australia will fly direct between MEL and KNX (Kununurra) between 15 May and 23 August 2020. Flights will operate 3 times per week on Fokker 70 aircraft operated by Alliance Airlines. Schedule as follows:

• VA2960 Melbourne 10:00 – Kununurra 12:40 (Tues, Thurs, Sat)
• VA2961 Kununnurra 10:00 – Melbourne 16:00 (Weds, Fri, Sun)

I checked a couple of random dates, and the pricing was $649 one-way for Y or $1,500 one-way for J. What's business class like on the Fokker 70?

I thought that the selling business was a booking system mistake but alas Alliance do mention a business class in the F70 brochure.

What an interesting non-charter route. The council press release states a lot of the seats have already been purchased by APT to cater for the Kimberley cruise tours as well as some council money being thrown around. Seems like VA know what they are doing with this route then.

The press release also states $399 economy one-way fares, I'd guess VA haven't loaded all the fare classes yet.

Unless I'm loosing it (and that could be a possibility) I don't see any mention of business in that PDF or on the Alliance site. It seems there must be a few different Fokker 70 configurations however judging by the URL stating F70_C but the PDF title being F70_B.
