VA Flight Specials app (iOS) not working

Does anyone else here have the same problem I am having with the VA Flight Specials app on iOS? I am running iOS7 on a 4S & have upgraded the app to the latest version. I can't get past the red screen at the front which shows "Synchronizing Alert Subscriptions". I have deleted cookies etc on the phone, deleted & re-installed the app with the same result.


EDIT: I got it to work. I put the app into my Notification Centre. Then it worked.

Thanks for the tip. Has been endlessly synchronising alert subscriptions on my iPhone and iPad ever since it updated.
iPhone, and iPad now working.
Not a very well done update to require such sleuthing.

Which is ironic that it says in the last update that the problem was solved with the new update. Trial & error & troubleshooting at my end solved it for me.
