Hi,
New to this site and after some advice please?
I'm a QANTAS FF Gold, so a OW Sapphire, my question is if I'm flying with BA in Premium Economy on a non QF coded flight, (i.e. on a BA coded flight), can I still access the lounge network as a OW Sapphire member?
Also if I join the BA program as a FF and start to gain points with them, does my Sapphire status with QANTAS remain for lounge access whilst I build the points with BA to Sapphire status please?

Welcome. In short yes and yes you’ll be accessing via your OW sapphire status until your QF status expires or you replace it with equivalent or higher BA status

I have a flight currently booked with Qantas under my QF FF, can I switch this to get the Status/Tier points put to my BA FF instead? If so, how please?

I'm not too sure but you can first try and change your personal details particularly for that flight on QF's website or App. If you have no luck succeeding, try and call customer service and they might try to fix it for you. But I'm quite sure that you can't change your FF program on the website or in the app.

Cheers

I think you can change it by changing passenger info in "manage your booking" on the website.

As your post was about seven months ago, and is still of some interest here, how did it go?

Edit:

... I am 15 points away from renewing QF Gold which I will do later this month. I'm moving back tot the UK in April, so want to switch to BAEC, so as you say I will keep using my QF Gold/OW Sapphire for lounge access while I build my BAEC status.

You are probably living in the UK by now, so may be all sorted. ;)
