We recently took advantage of the double status credits and booked a return business class trip from Sydney to Santiago in September.
I wanted to see if I could use some of my QFF points to redeem a points trip Santiago-Lima return on LATAM. I know that LATAM only allow rewards seats on return flights so if we could do this then that would be great.
I do not know how to do this or even if it can be done.
Has anyone ever done this? How do I go about first of all "seeing" if there are any rewards flights available on our chosen dates?
Thanks

I don't believe this is correct, one way rewards should be possible.

1. On the Qantas home page, go to the Book a trip section.
2. Select 'Use points - classic flight rewards only' option.
3. Enter your desired cities, dates, and whether you want a return or one-way flight. You will also need to enter your QFF details if you aren't already logged in.
4. You should get a page like below..

As sbor90 says, easily done on the QF website. I've done it mself a few times.

It might be easier sometimes to go directly to the Chile version of QF and try from there, but there is usually very good availabilty compared to many other routes

Thanks for the help sbor90. All booked. I had tried to book and pay for the flights on the QF website and it would not recognise Lima as a destination. I just had not tried using points and was surprised when Lima came up as a destination in that search. Very happy camper here!!

Boca68 - how do you get to the "Chile version of QF"? Thanks

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

If you go to qantas.com.au , you will see in the top right hand corner, right next to the login button. A little box that (should) say Australia(english). Click on that and you will be presented with all the different versions of the QF website. There is a Chile english and spanish if I remember correctly.

Your normal QF login works for all. Its useful especially if you want to purchase fares (or awards) ex-europe, ex-usa, ex-Chile etc...

edit: spelling:oops:
