Using complimentary upgrades

Hi,

I have four complimentary upgrades, which expire on the 2nd June. I am currently on a parental membership pause as I am maternity leave and not travelling with work a the moment (I am a platinum member and usually do a significant amount of travel with VA).

My question is, if my upgrades expire on the 2nd June, do this mean I have to use them before then, or can I book flights now for August using the upgrades? Also, can anyone tell me whether I can use these upgrades on a saver fare?

You just need to book the Plat upgrades before they expire. Travel can be after the expiry date. They cannot be used on saver fares.
