Hi, I am velocity plat, travelling ex melbourne, 4 hr layover in Singapore before heading to CAN.

What lounges can I use, and where are they located...easy to find?

I am travelling with two others (silver). I recall reading I can only guest one other in, is this right? Are they pretty tight on this? Can we pay at the door for an extra person. Domestically I can guest 3, but I dont think the same applies.

Thanks in advance.

Ex MEL you can use the SKL
Transit in Singapore you can use the Krisflyer Gold Lounge
Ex CAN you should be able to use the 3rd party contract lounge, lounge invite to be issued during checkin.

Under all circumstances plats are only able to bring into Singapore lounges 1 additional guest. You can try asking, but I wouldn't bat a yes for 3 people as SQ is known for its stinginess.

Actually, I have a diners card, poorly used, but I wonder if this will allow access to any lounges in either location...never really heard of anyone using this before...options...maybe

Maybe go to one of the paid lounges at Changi instead? Singapore has some really nice pay-for-entry lounges. Rainforest by SATS, I personally think is rather nice (and you can also get in for free if you have a priority pass and I think - a Diners Club)
