Upgrade request not working

Anyone having difficulties requesting upgrades for QF international flights?

Keep getting error msg when I click on upgrade: Error, Site is experiencing difficulty, try later

Seems to be ok for domestic upgrade request
 
Having the same issue since last week for an upcoming SYD-HKG-PEK return flight. Had to call up QF yesterday to place the upgrade request for the SYD-HKG-SYD leg.
 
I had the same thing happen with a PE to J upgrade request next week. Called up and requested no problem. Although my booking is for two people and there is a note on the upgrade page that I have opted for a gate upgrade if original upgrade not requested. I thought gate upgrades were only for solo travellers.

Ditto, for straight revenue ticket. When I called the service centre, they also made a big deal of the 'upgrade at the gate' possibility. I am a solo traveler, but I was a bit puzzled why he kept saying the upgrade might be at the gate. Once would have been enough.

Maybe this is a MASA-like move, by stealth. Can't do it on-line, have to call up.
 
They tried to get me to accept the 'Upgrade at the Gate' thing but I refused after a bad experience of getting the upgrade then being told there was no catering for me.

It was never mentioned when I rang up, I just noticed it when I clicked the upgrade tab on the bookings page.
 
Had problems for a month or two
send them a feedback thing online saying had issues requesting /changing upgrade request on my June Y+ booking. Got a response saying they are aware of issues affecting Y+ bookings with upgrades but hope to fix it by the end of the week. That was some weeks ago...
not too fussed as there is still time but just annoyed it doesn't work
 
Well despite the issues above, I just got an SMS saying my PE to J upgrade was confirmed. Given it is T-60 I think it is pretty good.

Had same issues weeks ago, and just tried it seems to be working now.
Requested 2 Y+ -> J for my Aug trip to HKG.
 
Mine still isn't working for a multi-city Intl booking in April. :(

I've also got a multi-city booking in Apr as well, MEL-NRT (via Syd) and PEK - MEL (via HKG & SYD), this one can not pass the error page.
