upgrade from PE to J less probable?

There is no waitlist as such for upgrades. They all are requests and then around 24 hours prior to the flight they will go through the requests and decide who does and who does not get an upgrade.

I have to disagree with that comment sorry.On many occasions I have checked my upgrade status on the morning of the flight only to see the status as wait listed. On most occasions once i arrived at the airport I have been declined but twice I was successful in the upgrade. It could well be last minute thing in case there is a no show etc.

Are the routes where you are successful different from the ones where you remain "declined"?
