Hi all,

Just wondering what experience anyone has has with the United Red Carpet lounge (domestic) at LAX and ORD are like and whether its advisable if its worth the $35USD for a single pass for each or if it isnt great value.

Using United for domestic sectors before/after long haul AUS to USA flights.

Cheers

The RCC at LAX is pretty ordinary. No showers. Food very basic. You have to pay for drinks unless you are departing in international business class or domestic PS business to JFK.

I wouldn't bother.

Having said that, T6/7 at LAX is dire, and the lounge is usually much quieter than the terminal.

Can't speak for the RCCs at ORD (there are four), as I haven't used them. I imagine that they're pretty-much the same as the example at LAX.
