Hi folks,

I haven't seen anyone put up their hand in this forum to offer an Uber referral link, so though I'd jump on it:

BillytheFIsh Uber Referral

Using the referral link, we each get a $10 ride credit.

From first trying out Uber occasionally a little while ago, I now use it every time over taxis. I've been in a lot of cabs over the years and they seriously seem to be getting worse and worse. I won't get in one anymore unless I absolutely can't avoid it. I'm not sure how this whole regulation war is going to pan out, but from a user's point of view, the Uber experience is just so much better in almost every way.

Cheers

Michael

Pretty sure this thread is ok in this subforum...ive seen others offer the same thing.

I'm sorry that I've so deeply offended you.

I posted this in the forum called "Referral Offers":

Referral Offers

There are posting guidlines issued by admin that as far as I am aware, I have complied with:

http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ting-guidelines-please-read-before-59068.html

If you look at that forum, it has a number of pages of similar threads. I've used referrals from other AFF members in the past and I'd rather sign up using someone's referral if it means they get some modest benefit when I was going to sign up of those things anyway. While I've only been a registered member for a year, if you look at my post history, you'll see I am hardly here just to "troll" or to "fish".

Maybe you should consider the context of the post rather than simply commenting on something because it pops up in the "new" posts and needlessly abusing someone.

If you don't like what is designated for some of the forums, then don't look at the posts in them, or post there.

Well, that is what this specific sub-forum is for. If you want to post your Uber referral link in this thread, then you are free to, in accordance with the posting guidlines.

If you don't like it, please just don't participate.

This thread meets the "Posting Guidelines", linked by BillytheFIsh in Post #7.

He has made clear what he and anyone who clicks his link will get, and is not offering cash for clicks, which would be against the rules. The $10 ride credit isn't cash he will make, but simply a ride credit. He can't cash that out.

ok. Fair enough. That I have seen uber referrals removed in the past is my only defence. I agree I didn't check the guidelines before posting so I must apologise to BillytheFIsh and withdraw my comments.

However, cough, cough, I still don't believe uber referrals should be permitted on AFF but it looks like I am in a minority. These are nothing special and everyone gets them.

Perhaps the referrals you saw in the past were not posted in the right forum, and as such the threads were delated (not moved) as per the information on what this subsection is to be used for? :p
