Help - I'm overseas at the moment and trying to book VA1 (SYD-DOH) then DOH-MLA and when I select the flight it show th number of points assuming I'm using points to pay the taxes and there seems no way around this (unless it gives you the option at the payment page).
All help appreciated as it's difficult for to ring Virgin in Australia now that Skype has been discontinued and my e-sim only permit calls within Europe.
A minor issue is that SYD-MLA does not show up but SYD-DOH then DOH-MLA does (it's the following morning but < 24 hours) - so I plan to book as 2 separate flights as the points difference is only 5000 pp in J - and MLA is not recognised by Virgin as a city but thanks to others I am using the modify the URL trick
