I'm sure the triple points frenzies are happening more often! They're back for another week - book from 16 to 22 February 2024, for travel up to 21 February 2025. 25% bonus points for PC members and 50% for PC+ continues to apply.

T&Cs:

Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 value on all hotels booked through qantas.com/hotels, except Classic Hotel Rewards, Airbnb, and holiday packages booked through qantas.com/holidays, from 12:01am (AEDT) 16 February 2024 until 11:59pm (AEDT) 22 February 2024 for travel until 21 February 2025. Bookings made for Accor hotel offers during the campaign period will not earn triple points; however they will earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 value instead of the standard 4 Qantas Points. Points Club members will earn 25% more Qantas Points, and Points Club Plus members will earn 50% more Qantas Points. Offer excludes Holiday Packages. Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or refunded bookings. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the same room. To earn Qantas Points, quote your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number when booking. Members will not be able to redeem points for, or earn points on additional charges paid to the accommodation provider for extras (including cots, breakfasts and other incidentals) on check-in or check-out (as applicable). Qantas Points will be credited to your account at least 8 weeks after check-out.

Just in time to rebook an upcoming stay via QF Hotels instead of direct to score the bonus points for the same price, plus use a $50 voucher!

Annoyed booked a Qantas hotel yesterday, free cancellation. But I used my Qantas $50 hotel voucher and I think I read somewhere that if you cancel you lose your hotel voucher.

If I book and pay for a hotel for someone else via my QF account and I won't be staying with them, as a gift for example, am I still entitled to the base and bonus points? It seems possible to change the "Your Details" at the booking stage to another name who would be the person checking in and providing ID but I wonder if that name is somehow matched to the person/QF account that booked and paid for the hotel, to then award the points?
