Travelling as Velocity Gold on SQ

I have booked a trip to Singapore and on to Danang with SQ for a family holiday later in the year. I’ve only ever flown SQ solo for business travel previously. As Velocity Gold,, it looks like I can use priority check in counters etc and priority boarding. Will SQ extend that to my family group travelling together (total of 5 pax).?

Also lounge access - looks like rules are 1 guest only, into SQ owned and operated lounges. That would rule Danang out as it’s a third party lounge but Sydney and Singapore appear to have owned and operated lounges. When the kids were little and travelling as a family often we’d be waved through into the lounge with other airlines. Now they’re all teens, I presume, they’ll enforce the one guest rule?

If the family is on the same PNR then you should not have any issues when checking in however if they are on a different PNR then that could be a problem. My daughter (at the time) was Platnium however they wouldn't let her travelling partner in the priority line because she was on a different booking. (you can always ask) This was probably 10 years ago.

As for the lounge it might be hit or miss. In Sydney last year they let us in with 3 x adults and 3 x children. (my wife and I were Platinum) However in Singapore they wouldn't budge despite me trying my best to persuade them. Next month we will try again however this time we will be 4 x adults and 2 children. Time will tell.....

Yes, expect the guest limit to be applied.
