Evening all

A quick question if I may. How long do you need to be able to transit through Frankfurt airport. My daughter is due to fly in on Spainair that has an ETA of 20:50 at terminal one. Then wants to catch QF006 out of terminal 2 at 23:55. Is this enough time to clear customs and get to terminal 2 to check in or is Frankfurt customs really slow.

Appreciate any assistance.

thx

I've only been through frankfurt twice but I think 3 hours would be plenty of time barring delays on the incoming flight. I usually get there on the train, last time was about 3 hours before the flight.

Did it 3 days ago though didn't have to change terminals-but that is not difficult.Should be less than an hour as I presume she is coming in from Spain therefore no customs. As always the greatest worry is a late arrival especially when on separate tickets.

Thx for all your input. drron, no customs from Spain, hows that?
Because Germany and Spain are both Schengen countries-free movement between. In my case was coming from Hungary and going on to the USA.So checked in with Lufthansa in Budapest and picked them up from AA in Chicago-no customs in Frankfurt.
Edit-your daughter though I would presume is on 2 separate tickets therefore would have to pick up her luggage for the transfer.
