I will fly from HKG to SYD on CX111, ETA 0715, then connect on EK418 to CHC, ETD 1015.
Three hours should be enough for transfer between those two flights. However, what's the procedure?
Cathay flights is issued on a Qantas paper, Qantas said provide them EK reloc, they will do a cross reference. Then the luggage will be checked through to CHC. Once arrived at SYD, just proceed to transfer desk, no need to clear immigration. However, Cathay said they have no interline argeement with EK, I have to collect my luggage at SYD and proceed to transfer desk, without clear immigration?
I did the cross reference to both CX and EK. However, I could not find any information on internet regarding transfers between international flights at T1. Do I need to clear immigration, collect check in bag, clear customs and check in again at upstairs?
Any one know?
Thanks!
