It is a lovely looking building which is why I posted the ceiling too. I wondered how many people bother to look up.
If this building was in a Euro city, they'd be hundreds of tourists taking photos.

That issue is resolved. Location can't be beat. Gave it a whirl instead of the Mantra. The restaurant/bar area is closed for renovation so they're using the area on level 5. Just used the gym and it's really warm in there with the sun streaming in. Called to see if they can do anything about it but totally disinterested.

There’s a desk, there’s a powerpoint, and there's a stain on the couch. Looks to be a normal business hotel to me.

Fair point. Not worth the hassle. It's just a bed for the night this time round. Might mention it if they ask for feedback.
