The view from my "office"

No view, but the sound of morning call to prayer in Istanbul must rank as one of the most ethereal experiences.

First one (I wonder how they chose who opens up), and then very many calls wailing across the darkened city, echoing around and joining in tone.

But I wouldn't like it every morning ...

Never been in myself but the S&P squid and the view of the stands where the props park gave it away. Decor threw me off though - nothing like the couple of CLs I've been in.

First time I went into the ADL CL I was of the same view about the decor and it is very different to MEL or SYD, the only other CL lounges I have been in. I did crop the top of the menu that says “Chairmans Lounge Menu” as that would have made it to easy.

Ok, will do. I was in the ADL CL lounge.

I did not know there were rules for this thread and did not read through 733 pages of posts, post #1 says ‘’So do you have a picture of somewhere special you were this morning you would like to share?’

In our case the somewhere special was MrsM birthday on a flight this evening.
