I can say the same about Turkey. Last year there was no one here, this year there are short lines at the major attractions, but it’s a great time to visit. Have not felt unsafe here at all.

IMG_9721.JPG MS E70 due to take us from Aswan to Abu Simbel (site of the Ramses 2 statues) for a day trip has gone tech. A replacement bird is apparently coming over from CAI. We're assured that our trip will happen (it's a key highlight.). Silver lining may be that we get to see sunset at the monument.
