With the United fares to the USA being so darn high these days ... especially for 'W' and up class that you can use Systemwide Certificates to upgrade on, getting any kind of a price deal is pretty handy.

I am sure I did start a tread here once on these and can't find it now. :p

UA seems to now and again have 10% discount certs good for travel STARTING from the USA but not starting outside the USA.

Other UA plats here might have these discount coupons, and well worth chasing them up if you need to travel, especially if there is a family of you ... but note they all seem to expire end November travel.

I have some 10% off ones, and a few 20% off which even work on expensive fares.

I saved $725 each on 2 higher coach class fares to the east coast recently.

I can outline the terms and rules if anyone needs them - ozstamps [at] ozemail.com.au ... and all these can be used online at United.com which at least is quick and handy.

Or I can post them here if anyone is interested.

Worth asking around if any of your friends get these, if you have flights coming up.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

MelUser ... yes with the $500 or so fuel surch and taxes we NEED to save a few bucks here and there.

Just got a couple of 20% off ones, good til December 31, darn shame as I booked a ticket recently not knowing these would turn up.:evil:

Some of us new to this site are working or holidaying in the US or Canadian ski resorts over the northern winter, and some have left or will be leaving in November. These vouchers (?) for flights before November (1st or30th) could be very useful next year.

How do you register to get them? Can you direct me to a site with their T&Cs? Thanks.

And nice to see someone offering to help others.:)
