Booked myself a flight to Melbourne in the middle of doing other things and got the return date wrong.

Only realised today when taking outbound and checkin was available for return which I booked 24 hours early.

Called up they offered to change een though it was a saver fare, but by the time I'd paid change fees was $5 less than a new fare. Left it booked new fare.

At lounge told them the story they cancelled rtn leg with full credit refund.

Going that extra mile when you don't have to is why I like you virgin! Thank you!

I recently enjoyed my first Domestic Virgin travel with new Plat status.

Offered earlier flights when checking in (both directions) - flights that were not originally available at the (cheap) original fares.

The Lounge was fab too
