Hello there.

Firstly let me say thank you for the opportunity to possibly become a part of your community. I have been reading this website for some time now, but never registered until now.

I've been a QFF member for a long time, joining back in 1998. I fly mostly to the less desirable locations in Australia for work, but do a bit of international personal travel.

I am extremely interested in generating a lot of Frequent Flyer points and I currently have about 750,000 inn my account waiting until I can use them.

I look forward to talking with you all..

Cheers

Hi Yorik,

Welcome to AFF. :D

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Hi.

Don't save that amount of points long, the rules will change or gulp...(and I think about my effort and spending in saving Ansett points)

You're dead a long time, use em.

Alas, poor Yorik

Yeah just waiting until I can get the time off to fly around and use them. I don;t see any point in upgrading my work flights for such short hauls. Considering doing the Classic reward redemption then trasnferring the flights into my partners name as she is living in another country at the moment and want to fly her back for a visit. :)

Welcome to AFF Yorik!

Very nice QFF point balance. I am not too far behind you and I am starting to worry that I need to use the points soon before they get devalued.

Welcome Yorik to AFF.

May your stay here be pleasant and not of the same fate as the namesake of Hamlet fame. ;)

Note that you can redeem awards (both Classic and Any Seat) for anyone who is an "Eligible Family Member" according to Qantas. (Check the QFF T&Cs for more information). No need to redeem in your name then transfer (in fact, this isn't possible without getting messy), and no need to even transfer the points first to their account.
