Hello !

Before the pandemic, I flew MEL > BKK > HKT on TG in Y. I always fly Y and my expectations are low. But from the second I stepped onto the plane, I felt like I was in Thailand already. The meals were good, whenever I wanted a vodka and orange, I just hit the button and the flight attendant came.

Has anyone flown TG in Y lately? Are they still like that or has the pandemic changed things? I know that it can vary pending the crew. I am keen to hear your thoughts if you have some.

My partner flew TG MEL-BKK in April on the overnight flight. Was a “normal” (i.e. not quite right) TG experience the main oddity this time was the meals departing MEL (supper) and before arrival in BKK (breakfast) were identical.

Thanks for that. Yeah, I try and avoid those overnight flights from Asia back to Australia like the plague. I have chronic fatigue - those flights kill me. With the meals, I found that too when I did that flight once about 5 years ago - never again.
