Hi All,

For those who are lucky enough to travel OS frequently, Telstra have released this mobile phone plan. It is quite expensive ($195 Per Month) but includes unlimited international calls (From Australia & From OS) plus 1.5Gb International Roaming Data Per Month.

It saves having to purchase a local SIM each country and you get to keep the same number / phone. Work pays for mine but for those who aren't as lucky, could be a good option.

I'd post the link but I am unable due to AFF rules (Minimum Post Count)

Enjoy

It's a good plan - pricey but very convenient.

I switched to it last year and being able to just arrive in a destination and switch on your phone is great.

0.13/Mb plus a bunch of other benefits... If you're overseas enough to use it

Shrek has had this plan for quite a while now and loves it.

I have been on it too! And for some time ( since it came out) and thought it was a slight abnormality and they will change their mind. ( Telstra)?

Very heavy user calling overseas ( fantastic value) !

And flying the world ( eligible countries) with 1.5 gig great stuff.

Great help with long o/s conversations especially doing overseas repatriations.

So Shhhh......ðŸ

Shows how useless my account manager is...I asked if Telstra had anything such as this two weeks ago!

I run 2 x Vodafone red plans for china operations.

Is it possible to add data to that plan?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

If you run out of allowance there are international data packs for international use. But I warn you they are only a stop gap measure and generally very poor value

You don't need to buy international data packs with this plan.

As long as you're in a supported country, excess data over the 1.5GB is charged at $30/GB which I find quite reasonable. I just pay the excess.

That's even better than I thought!!

Great thanks

Has anybody been dealing ( with Telstra) with late data landing onto their new billing period !

Well late landing data wiped out my next month allowance. Telstra was not interested in reimbursing me. I had to go thru the ombudsman go get results. They did not charge me extra! Finally © took awhil
