Syd int check-in and bag drop times

I thought I had read on here somewhere about check-in and bag drop times for Sydney International and that they are available all day. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
I am on QF3 SYD-HNL travelling in J class, which has a departure time of 22.25. Will be staying in Sydney the previous night and can get late check-out from the hotel until 16.00 then going to airport arriving around 16.30. Can I check-in and drop my luggage, clear immigration and head to the QF lounge that early?

Yes, Qantas have all-day check-in in Sydney, so you can drop your bags and go through as early as you like.
