Strange items carried on planes

I thought we already had a thread like this, but my searching didn't uncover it.

Anyway, it's not everyday you see the Virgin Mary flying business class!

I wondered briefly about an unrestrained and sizable Virgin bouncing around the cabin during rough weather or incident, but then reasoned that nothing could possibly go wrong, given who it was!

At least not my TAA flight Lae to Rabaul in 69.Two fellows boarded and sat across the aisle from me.A pig under one arm and a spear in the other.Naturally doing up their sear belts the pigs escaped.Later on during turbulence I understood why the DC3 had small holes in the roof.

I understand why. A sear belt would hurt. Surely roast pork would be better?
