Status matching

Hi all,

Im a Star Alliance Gold and also Gold with Virgin Velocity, keen to get into Oneworld if anyone has any tips as I have a couple of trips to Europe this year and Oneworld flights end up about $700 cheaper in total for both trips so ideally would like to try get a status match into a Gold Oneworld airline...

Status Matcher would be a good start for you

Of the oneworld carriers you're probably likely to have the best luck with Airberlin or a status challenge with AA. I'm not sure if Airberlin is currently offering status matches though - I believe they did one recently but for US residents only.

Yeah thanks for the info. I've tried Air Berlin's Top Bonus but need proof of German, Swiss or Austrian address which I don't have either of.
